What I have been doing to better manage my diabetes.

The thing I have been doing to better manage my diabetes is
1. I keep a log of all my BG's and what time it was and the many carbs I had with it.

2. Keep a food log of all the stuff I eat and the carbs and than I add the carbs toghther and program them in

3. I keep a log of all my meals and how much carbs I had that meal.

When I want to my Endo last friday...I showed them my log book and every thing. They told me that I should keep doing what I was doing. My A1C was 6.1. they lowered my basel rate.

Today I was up at 5:45am Cause I had a Appoint with my endo at 8:30am. We were in there for about 2 hours at the endo offices. My Endo told me that I was good a great job, But They lowered my basel rate cause I have had a lot of lows.

My A1C was 6.1 which is great....they are also happy to see that I am keeping a log book. I have been trying to do that for years but everytime I dont keep with it. But this time I stayed with it and I had almost 2 mouths for logs for him and When I go in Oct I will have the rest of july and the 3 mouth leding up to seeing him again.

Well I guess I can tell u about my weekend. Saturday I am leaving to go with my dad in the big truck. And Than Idk when I will be home...Well I guess that I will tell u guys more about everything that happened this weekend on monday.

What my life is diabetes is like...

My life with diabetes goes a lot like this.

9:00am Get up and get checked

10:30am Get checked and maybe have a snack

12:30pm Get checked and get something to eat and than program in the carbs I eat than

2:00pm Get checked and have a snack

5:30pm Get checked and have supper and program in what I eat them

7:00pm Have a snack

9:00pm Get around for bed ( Get checked, brush teeth, Take a shower, Set my Alarm for 8:30am so I can get up on time.

10:00pm Go to bed


That is how my day is most of the time.....I have been doing it that since I was 3 1/2 years old. It has been 11 years since that day happen and I have come a long way. I have the care of my friend's and family and All my diabetes friend and there family's.

When I was 10 I got my pump, I was not that happen about well I was a little But I did not like the fact that I had to change the site every 3 days.

Since I have meet Renee My BFF, Have have come to see that I Can ask God to do any thing that I need help with like if I am having a bad Than I would just pray about. And Like right now My brother is going though something a I pray for him every night cause I care and love him even if e is my brother that gets on my nerves a lot of the time. And as for the other brother he is cool too.

Well I guess that is all I have to say for today, I have a Doctor apt and will tell u guys about that when I get back.

This week has been weird.

I started my week with going to family camp at my church. On Monday my dad and I got home....just after we got home I want low....And than I hear my dad say "Jaimie" "What Dad" "Mom says we are going to church over at the camp so get something to eat and than take a shower and get around" "OK Dad I will" So I go downstairs and get something to eat....Than go get my cloths out of the big truck. After I got my stuff ready I want to take a shower and than get around for church. We do the same thing for Tusday, Wesday. Than on Thursday my mom and I want to get a pop and than want to the bank...on our way back from the bank...I seen that a cop was going down the road that The church camp was on...When we got home my mom got on facebook and seen that my cuz had put on there that we need to pray for 4 kids that were hit by thunder....there we 3 girl's and 1 boy....The boy and one of the girls...were brother and sister...The boy has diabetes and has a Insulin pump....he was air lifted to a hoptal in G.R...His sister did join him later the day....The other girl's were took to the local hoptal....Than later the sister was took to the hoptal were her brother was at...the other 2 girls were air lited to the hoptal U of M hoptal....I did hear today the sister was relased from the hoptal and her brother was moved from the ICU to his room. I will maybe kown more saturday...will tell u when I kown anything

What a day-7-7-10

Today has been somewhat a busy day. When I got up at 7:30am I got checked, I was 84. Than my mom changeload, we had lunch I was 84 we had lunch. We watched a music thing. Than at about 2:30pm almost 3:00pm,We were loaded and on our way to NC. Than we stoped for supper I was 232, I ate and than we left after a little bit. Before we left we want in to the rest area I want into go to the bathroom and I checked my pump site cause before we left the house It was bleeding. When I seen it. It was worse than it was before. So when I got in I got checked I was 255 so I bousled for it and I thought it would be fine. When I want back in the sleeper I checked it and it was worse than it was before, so I got checked and I was 350 I gave myself some insulie and want back to my site. When we stop just now I did not go in with my dad. I want back to the sleeper again and got checked and everything I was 320 so I tought I would give myself a shot. I gave myself 10 units....I hope that my Bg's will go down and not UP.
